We use an initial consultation to dive deep into your thyroid issues. We learn when you became sick, your symptoms, your past medical history, and what your goals are.
Follow-Up Session
60 minutes
This is the educational part of our work. We discuss your progress with your thyroid problems and we also dive deep into how the new foods are affecting your levels of energy and other symptoms.

What do Clinical Nutritionists do?
It's much more than discussing a meal plan
Clinical Nutritionists are credentialed and licensed professionals trained to evaluate nutritional needs based on extensive assessment of clients as well as laboratory markers. The laboratory markers can be traditional or functional. Functional labs are used to assess markers that are not assessed by traditional labs.
Clinical Nutritionists utilize evidence-based information to determine a path back to balance. We look at our clients as a whole. We believe the systems in our bodies are interlinked. Our goal is to promote optimal ways for the body's pathways that lead to homeostasis, which is a balanced state in the health spectrum. A clinical nutritionist helps clients stay focused and on track after an intervention plan has been established. Clinical nutritionists also determine the need for a therapeutic diet and ensure that the intervention is feasible according to several key factors. All the plans are individualized to meet the clients’ background, age, family history, etc. In clinical nutrition, there is no one-size-fits-all.
